ADHD, Autism, and Learning Evaluations in Folsom, CA

Neurodiversity-affirming psychoeducational evaluations serving families throughout Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Rocklin, and the greater Sacramento area.

Something feels harder than it should.

Maybe your child is bright but struggling. Maybe school takes hours of tears every night. Maybe teachers keep saying things are “fine,” but you know they’re not.

You might be wondering whether ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or another learning difference could be part of the picture. You might have tried to get answers through the school district and hit walls. Or you may have a prior evaluation that left you with more questions than clarity.

At Learning Pathways Educational Psychology, we provide thoughtful, individualized evaluations designed to give you clear answers and practical next steps so your family can move forward with confidence.

Evaluation Services

We offer comprehensive and targeted evaluations tailored to each student’s needs. Every evaluation is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and designed to produce clear, usable results.

ADHD Evaluations

Clear assessment of attention, executive functioning, and self-regulation, across settings, not just in a testing room.

Autism Evaluations

Strengths-based evaluations with particular expertise in high-masking presentations and profiles that don’t fit common stereotypes.

Dyslexia and Learning Disability Evaluations

Identification of reading, writing, and math-based learning differences, with recommendations families and schools can implement right away.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations

When concerns span multiple areas, a comprehensive evaluation provides a full picture of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)

If you disagree with your school district’s evaluation or want an independent opinion, we conduct thorough IEEs and support families through the IEP proces

What Makes Our Evaluations Different

We don’t just test. We explain.

Reports are written to be read: clear language, organized findings, and recommendations that translate directly to home and school. Families leave their feedback meeting understanding what the results mean and what to do next.

We tailor the evaluation to your child.

Not every student needs the same scope of testing. We design each evaluation around the specific question being asked, so families get meaningful information without unnecessary time or cost.

We specialize in complex presentations.

Many of the students we evaluate have been missed, misunderstood, or told they just need to “try harder.” We have particular experience with high-masking autism, twice-exceptional learners, and profiles that don’t fit neatly into one category.

Follow-up support is built in.

Most evaluation packages include ongoing consultation time. When a new question comes up three months later, or you need support preparing for an IEP meeting, we’re still here.

What to Expect

1. Free Consultation

We start with a 30-minute call or Zoom to understand your concerns, review relevant history, and determine the right scope of evaluation. There’s no obligation, and it helps us make sure we’re the right fit.

2. Individualized Evaluation

Your student participates in structured testing sessions tailored to their needs. We gather parent and teacher input and review relevant records. Sessions are paced to respect stamina and comfort.

3. Clear Feedback and a Written Report

Strengths-based evaluations with particular expertise in high-masking presentations and profiles that don’t fit common stereotypes.
